Here Today, Gone Tomorrow?
If the Town of Brookfield approves the Poplar Creek redevelopment, these long-familiar town businesses could be razed.
These familiar Town of Brookfield businesses would be no more, if the town approves a plan for a $100 million retail and office complex anchored by a Von Maur department store.
Gone would be the Applebees, West Point shopping center, West Point Cinemas and Menards. In would be about eight new buildings with two or three levels and underground parking, as well as a small green town square.
