Weaving Hope: Brookfield Religious Leaders Unite, Remember 9/11
The Brookfield Elm Grove Interfaith Network (BEGIN) held a 9/11 ceremony Sunday, as diverse religious leaders weaved ribbons together in prayer and songs.
On the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, religious leaders gathered at Brookfield's Civic Plaza Sunday to remember and call for unity.
Organized by the Brookfield Elm Grove Interfaith Network (BEGIN), leaders weaved ribbons together amid songs and prayers.Â
Arlene Spanier of Congregation Emanu-El led the song "Let There Be Peace on Earth."
