Week Ahead: 4K, Open Enrollment, Funeral Home, Meet 25 Preschools

Krause Funeral Home and crematorium, Bougey's Bar outdoor seating: Should the city allow Krause Funeral Home to build a 26,950-square-foot funeral home and crematorium at 21600 W. Capitol Dr.? The Plan Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday and a public hearing on the Krause plan is set for 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 2000 N. Calhoun Rd. Agenda

Open enrollment, 4K: The Elmbrook School Board will discuss whether to add four-year-old kindergarten next fall while not increasing open enrollment. The board meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the board room, 13780 Hope St. Agenda and packet materials.


K4 and K5 Open House at St. John Vianney: Families can check out St. John Vianney School's kindergarten programs at an 6 p.m. Tuesday at the school, 17500 Gebhardt Rd. Principal Pamela Pyzyk and kindergarten teachers will be on hand.

Auditions for Greater Tuna: Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove is for the community theater's performance of Greater Tuna. Auditions will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the theater, 800 Elm Grove Road, Elm Grove.

Preschools Meet and Greet: Get the chance to talk to representatives from : 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1755 N. Calhoun Rd. Third annual event sponsored by Mothers & More Milwaukee, based at St. John Vianney.

Wii Bowling for Adults: The Brookfield Public Library will host from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the library, 1900 N. Calhoun Rd.
