Capitol Drive road construction: State transportation officials will describe planned road work in 2012 on Capitol Drive from Brookfield Road to Mayfair Road. The informational open house will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Brookfield Public Safety Building, 2100 N. Calhoun Rd.

Concealed carry ban: Alderman will discuss and may vote on whether to ban firearms from city-owned buildings and property. The Legislative and Licensing Committee takes it up at 7 p.m. Tuesday, followed by the Common Council at 7:45 p.m. at , 2000 N. Calhoun Rd.
