Week Ahead: School Board Election Sessions, Carols and Cookies

Town sewer and water budgets: The town's Sanitary District will vote on 2012 sewer and water budgets after a utility meeting that starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday at , 645 Janacek Rd.

Considering a ? The Elmbrook School District is holding two informational sessions for interested candidates at 7 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday in the business office conference room at the district administrative offices, 13780 Hope St. In addition to district officials, some current board members might be on hand to answer questions about likely time commitments and other issues.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town (of Brookfield): The Town will host a with Santa and Mrs. Claus, carols, hot chocolate and cookies and lights at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the lower parking lot at Town Hall, 645 Janacek Rd.

Winter concert: s Middle and Upper School students will perform their winter concert at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Ready for ice skating? Weather permitting, the public is invited to , at North Avenue and Pilgrim Road, from noon to 5 p.m. on Dec. 10, 11, 17, 18 and 24.

Dance recital: Brookfield Academy Dance will hold an annual recital at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Brookfield East High School, 3305 Lilly Rd. Admission is $3.
