Summer reading for adults at the Elm Grove Public Library

Everyone knows about library summer reading programs for kids, but did you know the Elm Grove Public Library also has a summer reading program for adults? Adults sometimes need encouragement to read, too!

There are two ways to participate in the Adult Summer Library Program:

1. You can check out two books and enter your name into our weekly drawing. Every Monday, we are drawing one name from the previous week’s participants, and the winner gets to choose a gift card from an Elm Grove business.

2. You can write a book review and be entered into a drawing for our end-of-summer grand prize: A $50 gift card to Trader Joe’s.

To enter into the weekly drawing, simply fill out a form when you check out your books. The entry forms are at the Service Desk, in front of the computer where you check out books.

To enter into the grand prize drawing, you can fill out a book review form on paper or online. You can pick up a paper form from the librarian the next time you are at the library, and you can fill out the online form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1pEO6a7ayF3P5tvJJawgEjatURWYY1E7QdH7NKuvpKOk/viewform.

One note about the online form, though: It looks like you have only a little space for your review, but you actually can write as much as you want. It might be a good idea to write out your review in another program and then copy and paste it into the online form.
