The Elm Grove Library kicked off its annual summer library program this week!

Readers of all ages are invited to participate in the Elm Grove Public Library’s 2013 Summer Reading Program from Monday, June 10, through Friday, August 9. Tons of great programs will be taking place throughout the summer, including afternoon movies, special performances, and much more! Visit the library's website for more information.

Children and teens are reading to donate money to Heifer International. For each reading sheet participants finish, a donation will be made to the organization. Participants will also receive coupons for local businesses.

Participants of the Adult Summer Reading Program will be eligible for weekly prizes and one grand prize. Weekly prizes will be $30 gift certificates to Elm Grove businesses. Prize winners may select which gift certificate they would like. The grand prize will be a $50 gift certificate to Trader Joe’s.

To be entered into the weekly prize drawing, participants must check out two or more books, audiobooks, or magazines and fill out the form available at the library’s Information Desk. Drawings will be held every Monday from June 17 to August 12. To qualify for the grand prize drawing, each participant must write a short book review and submit it for entry. Book review forms are available at the Information Desk and online. All book reviews must be submitted by Friday, August 9. The grand prize drawing will be held on Tuesday, August 13.
