Resurrection Eggs By St. Dominic Catholic Parish Children’s Ministry Program

Students in the St. Dominic Catholic Parish Children's Ministry Program made Resurrection Eggs.

Students in the St. Dominic Catholic Parish Children’s Ministry Program made Resurrection Eggs in class last week. Resurrection eggs are a wonderful way to have Easter come to life in little hands. Each of the twelve colorful plastic eggs were numbered and filled with a scripture passage and a different memory-grabbing object to take Jesus’ journey to the cross and beyond to the resurrection. The students will use the eggs as a delightful way to count down the day to Easter weekend. Younger student’s learned the legend of the pretzel and how the simple shape of the pretzel represents arms folded in prayer.
