St. Dominic Catholic School Sponsored Kohl's Design-It Lab

The St. Dominic Catholic School Home & School Association, Brookfield, Wis., sponsored Kohl's Design-It Lab, in partnership with Discovery World, for an interactive science lab for the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Using styrofoam,duct tape, and popsicle sticks, the students, using problem solving skills, collaborated as teams to create working cantilevers that were tested with weights.

The students discussed skeletal structures and will continue their study as they visit Discovery World in February. The lab will conclude in April with another visit from the Mobile Design-It Lab.
