Community Playground Design Day Celebration

The Brookfield Junior Woman’s Club is Hosting a Design Day for an exciting new Universally Accessible Play-ground proposed for Mitchell Park near the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts.

This Playground will be a 100% disabled‐inclusive park that will be accessible to all children. The Playground will in‐clude cooperative games, multi-sensory activity structures, musical, educational and artistic components, and hand‐rails designed to include those children who may have a disability but are not necessarily confined to a wheelchair.

An architect from Leathers & Associates will meet with local elementary students during the day to get their ideas and drawings and will design a unique playground specific to our community.
