Fight Blood Cancer! Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour Volunteers Needed!

The Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour takes its riders through some of
the most scenic roads in the state! On Saturday, July 19, the bike tour begins
in Mequon at MATC-North Campus and ends in Manitowoc at UW-Manitowoc. There are

several volunteer opportunities available in Mequon and Manitowoc, as well as

the rest stop sites along the way including, Port Washington, Belgium, Oostburg,
Sheboygan (lunch is served to riders here), Plymouth and Cleveland.

On
Sunday, July 20, the bike tour begins in Manitowoc at UW-Manitowoc and ends in
Sunset Park in Sturgeon Bay, Door County. There are volunteer opportunities
available in Manitowoc and Sturgeon Bay, as well as the rest stop sites along
the way including, Two Rivers, Two Creeks, Kewaunee and Algoma (lunch is served
to riders here).

Opportunities are also available the day before the
bike tour, July 18 and the day after on July 21.

Volunteers are needed
for staffing rest stops, helping prepare meals, set-up & clean-up, loading
& unloading luggage and MUCH more!

A full list of volunteer job
descriptions is available by request or on our website. This is an event that
spans 5 counties with opportunities that range from a 1/2 day to a 2 to a 4 day
commitment. The choice is yours!

All proceeds benefit the Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society to help Wisconsinites effected by blood cancer. The Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society funds lifesaving research and support for people battling
blood cancers. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's
disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their
families. 76% of every dollar donated is directed to our mission of curing blood
cancers! Volunteering for this event contributes the one common goal - to find a
cure for blood cancers!

Last year's bike tour raised over $1,000,000 and
our goal is to raise $1,100,000 at the 2014 ride! We can do this with your help!

You can make a difference in the lives of those effected by blood
cancers!
