Brookfield Road Roundabout to Start
Waukesha County will begin construction of a roundabout at North Avenue (County Highway M) and Brookfield Road, with closure of that intersection scheduled for June 16th. The existing intersection has reached its capacity, and the new one lane roundabout is expected to improve traffic flow and resolve many accident issues. The intersection is scheduled to re-open prior to the school year on August 18th.
Access to the Village area from the east will be via Calhoun Road to Burleigh Road, which intersects Brookfield Road at the north end of the Village area.
From the west, the recommended detour route is Barker Road to Capitol Drive to access Brookfield Road.
