New Series: Tech Trends

The Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce (GBCC), announces a new program of the Chamber,“Tech Trends.” The first meeting of the series will take place on Tuesday, September 17 from 11:30a.m. – 1:00 p.m, and will continue every third Tuesday of each month. Series will take place at the GBCC office, 17100 W. Bluemound Rd., Ste #202, Brookfield, WI 53005. 

Tech Trends is a new monthly series facilitated by Gjeret Stein, “Head Guru” of Sensible Gurus. The series is geared towards keeping individuals up-to-date on commonly used software and internet safety in the ever-changing world of technology. The first program will focus on helping participants learn:

• How viruses, in today’s internet connected world, infect computers even if anti-virus is turned on

• How to clean minor infections with free tools and the tools the pro’s use

• Group discussions on why viruses are out there, what they do, and how to protect your private information.
