Wildcard is now enrolling for Summer and Fall!

Hello Everyone, 

Saturday was the last day of the Spring/Summer Session.  Monday, July 22 begins the six week long Summer session.  Because it is a short session, prices have been shortened too!  A one hour class is only $92!  Registration is still available online and there is room in all of our classes.  This is a great time to get kids back into the swing of things if they've been out of the gym for awhile.  

Also, please don't forget that all currently registered participants in Girls' and Boys' Beginner, Girls' and Boys' Advanced Beginner, Intermediate/Advanced, Tumbling and Trampoline, and TumbleBugs III are invited to partake in Wildcard's Class Competition.  The Class Competition is a great way to experience the fun of learning routines on four gymnastics events, perform them in front of a judge, and receive a score for each routine.  Each gymnast participating will be honored on the medal stand and receive ribbons and a medal just like in a real competition.  Your child must be enrolled in this 6-week session to participate in the Class Competition.  There is no cost to participating in the Class Competition, which will be held on Saturday, August 24 starting at 10 a.m.  Registration is available online for the Class Competition so be sure to register for it as well as your child's regular class.  (If you've already registered, please let the front desk know that your child will be participating so we can add them to the competition roster.)

The Fall schedule and brochure is now online too.  The Fall session will run from September 7-November 2 with no classes October 25-26 for Wildcard's Wild Wild West Competition. Check out several new additions to the Fall schedule, including a Tumbling for Cheerleading class on Mondays at 4:30 p.m. or Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. designed especially for middle school and high school cheerleaders.  This class will work on basic tumbling, drills, and focus on progressing from a back handspring to upper level tumbling.  

Wildcard has also added a co-ed Beginner class on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. for homeschool kids, as well as a Boys' Advanced Beginner and a Parkour class on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m.  

On Wednesday nights, Wildcard is now offering a Parkour/Free Running Competition class where participants will learn how to design a routine that could be used in a Free Run exhibition or competition. Participants will get the opportunity to show off their skills in an exhibition at the end of the Fall/Winter session in January and will receive a competition jersey.  

Wednesday nights we are adding a modified Open Gym from 6:30 -8:30 p.m.  The gym will be open for participants to work on Parkour or gymnastics in the back gym until 7:30 p.m. and then may use the main gym and equipment provided it is not being used by the regularly scheduled classes.  

Please note: Tuesday and Thursday morning preschool classes have changed times.  Bitty Bugs will be offered at 9 a.m. and TumbleBugs I/II will be offered at 9:30 a.m.  A TumbleBugs III class has been added on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. These classes are being offered at a discount of the evening times. If you can bring your child in the mornings, it's a great opportunity to save on our terrific classes. All of our daytime classes, including the homeschool beginner class.

If your child has been in our Advanced Beginner Tumbling and Trampoline class and is interested in participating in a Tumbling/Trampoline competition or just wants to learn more combinations and advanced skills , then sign up for our Intermediate/ Pre-Team Tumbling and Trampoline class on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. 

The Gold Medal Competition class will be returning on Saturdays for girls interested in learning routines and participating in a competition.  This will be a fun add-on class for gymnasts who really enjoyed the Summer Class Meet.  Your child must be enrolled in another rec. class in order to participated in Gold Medal.  They also get a special leotard to wear in the class competition.  

Finally,  Wildcard will be opening a brand new Fast Track for girls who are interested in becoming a member of Wildcard's competitive team.  Fast Track is a pre-competitive program where participants will begin learning skills and routines needed for the introductory level of competition.  Fast Track gymnasts are required to come twice per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and are expected to partake in shows, demonstrations, fundraising, and other team events.  Fast Track gymnasts will also order an exhibition leotard that will be used for performances and if needed, for competitions.  The tuition for Fast Track is assessed monthly.  If your child has been recommended to Fast Track, please use the "TEAM" tab on the online registration page.  If you think your child is ready for Fast Track and she has previously been in Wildcard's Advanced Beginner classes or Intermediate/Advanced classes, please contact your child's instructor or the front desk to schedule a try-out.

Want a night out from the kids? Let Wildcard Gymnastics make that happen! Drop the kids off on Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. for an evening of games, tye-dying, water balloon fights, contests, movies and other fun. Come back by 10 a.m. on Aug. 4 to pick them up. It's worry and hassle free! Children 5-up are invited to attend.  Dinner, snacks and breakfast will be provided. All you need you bring is your child, sleeping bag and pillow, swimsuit, a towel and something to sleep in. Adult supervision will be provided during the whole event.The cost is $40 per child if paid by Aug. 1. Otherwise, it's $45 at the door. Siblings receive an additional $5 of per child. Discounts are available for members of Wildcard's competitive team and for children being picked up by midnight. 

Come join Wildcard in celebrating the Summer!  Wildcard will host the annual Summer Spectacular on Saturday, August 10th!  This is a great opportunity to see our Boys'  and Girls'  team gymnasts debut new routines on various events and watch members of our Summer Camp perform a special routine!  There will be concessions available.  It's a great show!  Come check it out.
