AT&T Hosts Screening of Miss Representation Documentary

AT&T teamed up with the Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation to host a screening of the documentary Miss Representation.

AT&T and the Women of AT&T-WI teamed up with the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corp. (WWBIC) to host a screening of the documentary Miss Representation on February 12 at the Majestic Theater in Brookfield.

After the screening, AT&T hosted a panel discussion with WWBIC President Wendy Baumann, AT&T Director of Sales Glenna Haas, and State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin).

Miss Representation is a film that documents the news media and its often limited and negative depictions of women in power.  The film includes stories from journalists, politicians, activists and other women of all ages.

The goal of the event was to encourage attendees to watch the film and join in the panel discussion on how we can empower women and girls and provide them with new opportunities to realize their full potential.

Miss Representation is written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom.  For more information on the film, please visit www.missrepresentation.org.
