In an effort to expose children to the performing arts and get kids into the holiday spirit, St. John Vianney third grade teachers took their students to Milwaukee’s own First Stage Theater on December 6th for its production of Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer.

The children got up close and personal with the actors as they brought Rudolph and his friends to life onstage in the cozy, small-scale theatre. According First Stage, the play emphasizes the importance of our differences, a concept in-line with SJV’s goal of respecting individuals and fostering a Christ-like community.
