This Sunday: Milwaukee Art Museum Hosts Holiday Family Event

Kohl’s Art Generation Family Sundays: Home for the Holidays invites guests to revel in the spirit of the holidays—with a twist of the British Isles.

This Sunday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Milwaukee Art Museum and Kohl's will host a fun, festive day for Milwaukee-area families.

Kohl's Art Generation Family Sundays: Home for the Holidays invites guests to revel in the spirit of the holidays - with a twist of the British Isles. Parents and children can create art for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, enjoy Irish dance and music of the season, and more, all inspired by Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Gainsborough: The Treasures of Kenwood House, London exhibition.

The Kohl's Art Generation Family Sundays Home for the Holidays will take place at the Milwaukee Art Museum.  The event is free with Museum admission and for members of the Boys and Girls Club and their families with membership card.  It is also free for Betty Brinn Children's Museum, Discovery World, and Milwaukee Public Museum members with membership card and photo ID as a part of Member Swap Day.

The Kohl's Art Generation program is designed to give kids an appreciation for art through participation in exciting, creative and hands-on projects.  Kohl's Art Generation is made possible through $4.3 million from Kohl's Cares and Kohl's Department Stores to the Milwaukee Art Museum.
