Services for Brookfield Man Who Died in Costa Rica Being Held Tuesday
Steve Flesch died in Costa Rica after being shot while on vacation. Services will be held Tuesday, May 14.
Services for Steve Flesch, who died from a gunshot wound in Costa Rica, will be held Tuesday.
The 32-year-old Brookfield man was shot and robbed in Costa Rica while on vacation.
Flesch's family tried to get him back to the United States as he laid in a hospital bed in Costa Rica for more than a month but the hospital would not release him because his passport was stolen.

Flesch graduated from Brookfield East High School in 2000 and was a graduate of San Diego Golf Academy, according to the obituary.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel located at 4747 S. 60th St. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Private interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
