14-Year-Old Lothario 'Had Quite an Evening Planned,' Police Muse

Whether he was trying to steal someone's heart, who knows, but tender-aged boy was certainly trying to steal the ingredients for a close encounter.

A 14-year-old Milwaukee boy must have had some interesting explaining to do when he was released to his parents after being caught shoplifting.

At 4:04 p.m. March 17, the boy was cited for retail theft at the Pick ‘n Save store at 12735 W. Capitol Dr.

The youngster “seems to have had quite an evening planned,” a police spokesman said.

When officers arrived, the man was standing by a truck parked in a nearby driveway, and the driver of said truck was seen walking quickly away between two houses. He could not be found, and he took his keys with him. Police had the truck towed at the request of the homeowner, who did not know the pair and didn't want their truck blocking his driveway. The rowdy passenger had clearly had more than a few drinks and was ordered not to drive.

At 4:34 p.m., a 14-year-old Elm Grove boy and a 15-year-old Brookfield girl were cited for disorderly conduct after they got into a fight at Brookfield East High School, where both are students. The set-to began in a hallway when “somebody threw food at someone else, and people started shouting very bad words,” according to school officials. Pushing and shoving ensued, but things mostly settled down after one student was knocked into the wall. But the two students arrested were “the most vocal and not cooperative” when school staff arrived to put a stop to the scuffle.
