Police Report: Baby Formula Thefts and Toilet Paper Pranks

The latest police reports include thefts of baby power and vodka and suspicious toilet paper purchases.

Brookfield police are working with West Milwaukee officers on possible charges against two men they say stole baby formula from Pick 'n Save stores in both communities.

Employees at , 12735 W. Capitol Dr., called Brookfield police Wednesday after a review of surveillance video uncovered two men stealing $539.70 in Gerber baby formula about 8 a.m. Saturday.

The same two men were arrested Monday by West Milwaukee police after committing a similar theft at a Pick 'n Save there.

Toilet papering prank: After a group of five young women bought "an abundance" of toilet paper at , 2205 N. Calhoun Rd., about 8:30 p.m. Saturday and told him they planned to T.P. people.

Officers contacted the owner of the vehicle in which they left and talked to a woman who said her daughter's Catholic Memorial High School soccer team had won at the state tournament. She said they planned to T.P. their coaches' homes "as is tradition and expected by the coaches." No further action was taken by police.

Theft of vodka: Police were searching for a woman about 17 to 22 years old who stole a 750ML bottle of Fleischmann's vodka at 8 p.m. Saturday at the , 17295 W. Capitol Dr. She left in a red VW Jetta.

Burglary: A man told police Wednesday that someone stole his hand cart from his garden shed in the 1400 block of Shawnee Pass. The cart was worth about $150.
