Bathroom Bandit Charged in Brookfield, Pewaukee Thefts, Complaint Says

Cory J. Feerick, 33, of Brookfield, faces up to 45 months in jail if convicted of toilet flush valve thefts.

A Brookfield man who is suspected of stealing toilet flush valves in Pewaukee and Brookfield was charged Thursday with five misdemeanor theft counts in Waukesha County Circuit Court.

Cory J. Feerick, 33, faces up to 45 months in jail and $50,000 in fines if convicted of the charges.

The complaint states Feerick sold hundreds of pounds of brass for cash at area salvage yards.

Flush valves for toilets and urinals for months were going missing from all over the metro Milwaukee area. Fast food restaurants, grocery stores and college campus bathrooms were favorite targets.
