All three mothers worked at the spa, with Robuck and Lind holding down other jobs as well to make ends meet with their spouses or partners.

The women lost their lives and four other women — three Azana employees and one customer — were injured in Sunday's mass shooting by Haughton's estranged husband.

Radcliffe Haughton committed suicide by a gunshot to his head, according to a news release by Brookfield police.

One woman was released from the hospital Monday. Three women remained hospitalized Tuesday, all in satisfactory condition, one of whom was upgraded from critical, according to Froedtert Hospital. UPDATE: A second woman was released Wednesday.

Area spas sent messages of support to Azana's staff and clients on Azana's Facebook page, with Azana thanking everyone for their prayers and love. Azana's owner planned to speak publicly Tuesday afternoon.
