Blenski was fired from Reinders in Sussex on Jan. 9. Shortly after his termination, Blenski asked another employee to download his personal contacts from his work computer. The employee contacted the company’s IT director about the request. The IT director agreed to provide the personal information, however, Blenski also asked the employee on Jan. 18 to bring a specific file on the computer.

When the IT director looked up the file, she determined that the file contained Blenski’s old emails and contacts from work at Reinders. The employee told Blenski at lunch he would not receive the contacts and Blenski became very agitated, the IT director told investigators with the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.

The IT director looked at the files again and noted that two files were created Jan. 11 and Jan. 18 – after Blenski was terminated.

Investigators traced the IP address of the files and found they were created on a computer at a Milwaukee company where Blenski was completing IT repairs. The company’s owner had separately contacted Reinders after Blenski told the owner police may come to the business to talk to the owner.
