Brookfield Man Caught With Drugs in Milwaukee

Suspect charged with marijuana possession after car goes the wrong way down a one-way street.

A Brookfield man is facing drug charges after he was in a car where the driver went down the wrong way on a one way street.

Eric J. Mallon, 20 , was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to six months in jail and $1,000 in fines.

On Monday, a Milwaukee police officer spotted a car drive the wrong way down a one-way street in the 2300 block of North Prospect Avenue and pulled the car over. While approaching the car, Mallon, who was riding in the passenger seat, tried to hide something in the center console.

Officers searched it and found a pipe and grinder. They also found two baggies of marijuana under Mallon’s seat.

He told officers the drugs were his and that he had been selling them for the past two weeks.
