Brookfield Man Gets Prison for Assaulting Menomonee Falls Girl in Wauwatosa

A Brookfield man was sentenced Monday to 30 years in prison for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old Menomonee Falls girl at a Wauwatosa apartment.

Sunil K. Singh, 49, also was ordered to serve 10 years on extended supervision after his prison release, which means he will be on parole until he is 89, according to Wisconsin Circuit Court Access records. Singh's prison time will be reduced by the 407 days he has served in jail.

Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Jeffrey Conen told Singh he can no have contact with the girl or her family, must maintain absolute sobriety and undergo alcohol and sexual offender assessments and treatment as recommended.

According to a criminal complaint, Singh got the girl drunk and drove her to a Wauwatosa apartment where he beat and sexually assaulted her. The girl escaped and got help from nearby resident who called police.
