Brookfield Man Arrested, Accused of Night of Tire Slashing
Mount Pleasant police say two men from Brookfield and Racine are in custody for allegedly slashing the tires of 26 vehicles at several businesses.
A Brookfield man was arrested Thursday in Mount Pleasant after police said he and another man went on a tire-slashing spree at a half-dozen businesses.
The 18-year-old Brookfield man and a 31-year-old Racine man were in custody awaiting possible charges of felony criminal damage to property.

The pair visited at least four different businesses in Mount Pleasant and two in Racine. They reportedly used a pocket knife to slash the tires of 26 vehicles parked in the lots of Fast Track, Richlonn Good Year, Porcaro Ford and Advance Auto Parts, Society's Assets and Pizza Hut.
Calls about the crimes were originally reported at 10:43 p.m. Tuesday and the men were arrested Thursday. Both were being held at the Racine County Jail.
