Brookfield Woman Accused of Stabbing Milwaukee Man
The woman was arguing with the victim about a steak knife before she used it to stab him in the arm, a criminal charge alleges.
A 50-year-old Brookfield woman stabbed a man in the arm with a steak knife while arguing about that knife, a criminal complaint alleges.
Kimberly M. Garner was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Monday with one count of substantial battery with use of a dangerous weapon. If convicted, she faces up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

On June 29, Garner and the victim were arguing in a residence in the 2800 block of West Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee when she stabbed the man in his arm with a steak knife. The man, who was treated for his injuries, told officers the two were fighting about the knife when she stabbed him.
She was freed on $250 bail while awaiting trial.
