The daughter and her family decided to leave. On the way out, Basile, who had been drinking heavily that day, got in her daughter's way and put her hand by her daughter's neck.
The daughter turned away, and Basile hit her on the back of the head. The daughter’s husband then got involved, and Basile kicked him in the leg and pushed him away, the complaint alleges.
The daughter, her husband and children left and called police.
Basile will make her first court appearance Oct. 1.
