Drunken Wedding Crasher Kicked Out of Hotel

Brookfield police removed a 33-year-old man from a wedding reception at the Sheraton after he became drunk and disorderly.

Crashing a wedding uninvited and drunk cost a man his hotel room, Brookfield police reports say.

Security at the , 375 S. Moorland Road, called police for assistance in removing an unruly guest who had been warned three times Saturday to stay in his hotel room due to his behavior.

Despite the warnings, the "extremely intoxicated" 33-year-old man, wearing blue jeans, crashed a wedding reception at the hotel and was imbibing the free drinks.

His friends cautioned hotel staff that he could become combative. The hotel decided not to prosecute him for disorderly conduct but staff wanted him removed.

He registered a 0.24 blood-alcohol level.

Calls were placed to several other Brookfield hotels, which were full, before police brought him to , where he paid for an available room. Officers warned him that if police got another call about him, he would be arrested for disorderly conduct.
