Falls Man Charged With Selling Ecstasy in Brookfield

A Menomonee Falls man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly was caught selling Ecstasy in the parking lot of a Brookfield business.
Michael A. Cornell, 20, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of delivery of a designer drug, one count of maintaining a drug trafficking place and one count of bail jumping. If convicted, he faces up to 19 years in prison and $70,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint, an informant for the Waukesha County Metro Drug Unit agreed to purchase seven grams of Ecstasy from Cornell for $675 in the parking lot of a Brookfield business last September. He made the transaction with the informant and was later arrested.

Wisconsin court records show Cornell pleaded no contest last October to possession of marijuana in Ozaukee County and was sentenced to serve one year on probation.
