Falls Man Charged With Selling Ecstasy in Brookfield

Suspect, 20, allegedly sold drugs to an informant in the parking lot of a Brookfield business.

A Menomonee Falls man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly was caught selling Ecstasy in the parking lot of a Brookfield business.

Michael A. Cornell, 20, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of delivery of a designer drug, one count of maintaining a drug trafficking place and one count of bail jumping. If convicted, he faces up to 19 years in prison and $70,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, an informant for the Waukesha County Metro Drug Unit agreed to purchase seven grams of Ecstasy from Cornell for $675 in the parking lot of a Brookfield business last September. He made the transaction with the informant and was later arrested.
