Police responded to a home in the town of Brookfield expecting a hostage situation after a suspicious 911 phone call on Sunday night.

Police received a call that a family was being held hostage just after 7 p.m. Sunday, according to CBS58.com. Officers responded to the Sundance Drive home and were able to talk to the people inside, confirming that everyone was safe.

A 16-year-old living in the home was taken in for questioning, but no further details were released, the article said.
