Hotel Guest Arrested for Lewd Behavior

Brookfield Suites guest was referred to Waukesha County district attorney's office for charges.

A man staying overnight at the Hotel & Convention Center was arrested Saturday morning after allegedly exposing himself to other guests.

According to police reports, the hotel's rooms have windows facing a center atrium. A 36-year-old guest was standing naked at the window of his room, No. 216. He was committing sexual acts shortly before 11 a.m., reports say.

The man was arrested and referred for charges to the Waukesha County district attorney's office. No charges have been filed as of Tuesday.

Dog bites dog: A 5-year-old female bichon named Snowball bit another dog outside a home in the 14800 block of Burleigh Road after 5 p.m. March 21. The bite did not require medical attention and no citations were filed. The breed and name of the dog that was bit was not in the brief report. Police referred the case to the .

Taser used: Police responded to reports of a possible suicidal man with a gun in the back yard of a Patricia Lane home at 8 a.m. March 21. Officers tased the man, 20, and wrestled him to the ground. Neighborhood roads were shut down for about 10 minutes until the scene was cleared.

Woman blames squad in crash: A pickup truck rear-ended a car on S. Moorland Road near I-94 about 5:15 p.m. Thursday. The pickup driver blamed a State Patrol squad, which stopped in traffic waiting to turn onto a freeway ramp to respond to an emergency on I-94. The driver said she only saw squad lights and didn't have enough time to react. The driver of the car that was struck said the squad's sirens also were activated and all other vehicles had stopped for the state trooper. 

Stolen property at school: Police confiscated a Chicago Cutler parking knife, cigarettes, a short cigar and wooden carving tool from a female student's locker and backpack at about noon Wednesday. The wooden carving tool had been stolen from the school. The girl also had ibuprofen in her locker against school rules. One girl, 13, received a municipal citation for theft and possession of tobacco products, and another girl, 12, was issued a citation for receiving stolen property, the carving tool.
