Loads of Fun: Fugitive Takes Haven in Laundromat

Put him on the 'dry out' cycle – this guy is just looking for a warm, clean, dry and lint-free place to sleep it off.

At 9:04 p.m. March 23, a 32-year-old man was arrested on a warrant after he was coaxed out of a clothes dryer at the Loads of Fun Maytag Laundry at 2495 N. 124th St.

A woman called police when she saw him trying to get into her car.

When he couldn’t get in, she said, he went into the laundry, walked to the back and crawled into a clothers dryer.

Officers found the fellow inside the appliance and coaxed him out. They said he was highly intoxicated but cooperative and answered questions appropriately.

Unfortunately for him, he had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody – the details of said warrant not specified in the complaint against him.
