Randolph and a 15-year-old went to Brookfield Place Gas, 3075 N. 124th St., after it was closed on Aug. 3 and tossed a rock through a glass door, shattering it. Randolph stole the cash register, which was valued between $5,000 and $8,000, and had about $100 inside.

Wauwatosa police arrested Randolph Aug. 10 after he and another man tried to commit a similar burglary there. Randolph admitted taking part in the Brookfield burglary with the teen who was driving the car.
