Man Charged with Selling Cocaine at Mall

A criminal complaint alleges a transaction took place with a police informant on Wednesday.

A Milwaukee man is facing felony charges after he allegedly sold an informant 8.65 grams of cocaine at Brookfield Square mall.

Roshaun K. Basey, 26, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of manufacture and delivery of between five and 15 grams of cocaine. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison and $50,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, the informant arranged for a drug transaction to take place Wednesday at the mall. Basey, who also goes by the name “Cheezy,” was arrested shortly after the transaction took place.
