Man's Car Stolen by Recently Made 'Friend'

A Kenosha man's new acquaintance left him stranded without a car in Brookfield, he told police.

The man said he met another man known only as "Mike" on July 1. The next afternoon, they were together at Corner Market in Brookfield, 15565 Blue Mound Road. When the victim left "Mike" in the running car to go inside, the 1996 Lincoln Town Car Executive — and "Mike" — disappeared.
