Motorcyclist Faces Felonies After Speeding Away from Cops

A 32-year-old Hartland man faces two felony charges after a high speed chase exceeding speeds of 135 mph.

Bradley J. Peters faces felony charges of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety and eluding an officer. He will appear in court at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday for a hearing.

The incident took place near Sunny Slope Road in Brookfield on Tuesday night, according to a BrookfieldNow.com article. The motorcycle drove past an officer patrolling the area at 91 mph; when the officer pursued the motorcycle, the driver accelerated, exceeding the police squad's max of 135 mph.
