Police Report: Man Raises Suspicion in Park

Latest police calls include a 65-year-old Waukesha man parked after hours at Wirth Park, with a photo of exposed genitalia on his front seat.

A 65-year-old Waukesha man drew suspicion when police officers checking his car parked after hours at found a polaroid photo of exposed genitals on his front seat. 

The man told police that he had pulled into the park about 1 a.m. Tuesday to throw out a bottle of "booze," according to a police report.

He said he had found the photo, which had duct tape on it, on his windshield and intended to throw it away but had forgotten, the report said.

Police gave him a municipal citation for being in the park after hours.

Basketball noise: Police received a complaint about youth playing basketball at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday on the courts at the , 1305 Davidson Road. When officers arrived, the juveniles left with a warning. 

Threats: Police were investigating a complaint that about 1 a.m. Tuesday a man had threatened to shoot a Brookfield man and drive to Green Bay to kill his family. The Brookfield man allegedly had recently dated the suspect's ex-wife.

Grocery retail theft: A couple was arrested for retail theft after they allegedly rolled a full cart full of groceries out of without paying for them. A 36-year-old woman and 46-year-old man were arrested occurred shortly after 4 p.m. Monday outside the store, 12735 W. Capitol Dr.

Burning garlic mustard weeds: Police warned a resident in the 1900 block of Fox Hollow Run about the city's burning ordinances after the homeowner was illegally burning garlic mustard weeds and sticks about 2:30 p.m. on Memorial Day.

"Spy camera": A resident in apartments called police about noon Monday to say she believed her landlord had installed a "spy camera" in her bedroom. It actually was a smoke alarm. 

Minks on loose: Two minks were removed from the basement wall of a home in the 19300 block of Emerald Drive after 11 a.m. Monday after the a resident called police who contacted the .

Ding dong ditch: Police were investigating complaints that someone was ringing doorbells and running from homes in the 19400 block of Baythorn Way shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday. 

Hotel flat-screen TV smashed: A cleaning employee at the  said she found a 32-inch flat screen television smashed in room 478 during her cleaning rounds Sunday. The woman who had rented that room Saturday night denied any knowledge of the damaged TV and police told the hotel it was a civil dispute. The damage was estimated at $900.

Drugged driving: Police found heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia when they stopped a car for erratic driving near W. Capitol Drive and N. Barker Road about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The driver was arrested for second-offense operating while impaired and various drug-related charges.

Gas thefts: , 3960 N. Brookfield Road, reported a man drove off without paying for $65.87 in gas he had pumped shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday,and another motorist left without paying $55.64 in gas about 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Car crash: After a Honda Accord crashed into a median at eastbound I-94 and Pewaukee Road at 5 p.m. Sunday, its occupants got out and took off, witnesses said. Officers found them at the base of an I-94 ramp and found open intoxicants in the vehicle.

Black lab statue stolen: A 3-foot-tall "life-like" statue of a black lab worth about $100 was stolen from front yard landscaping at a Kings Ridge Court home sometime Saturday night. 

Egged house (again): For the second time in as many weeks, a homeowner in the 800 block of S. Sunnyslope Road called police to say his house had been egged overnight Saturday. The man said no permanent damage was done by the eggs tossed at his roof and porch and suspected it was directed at his son.

Public urination at a school: After playing soccer at , a man urinated on the side of the building about 8:15 p.m. Saturday, another man told police who investigated an indecent exposure complaint. He was no longer there when officers arrived, and an acquaintance refused to identify him. Police warned the man to refrain from any similar behavior.
