Police Reports: Beer-Can Throwing and Other Vandalism

Recent Brookfield police reports contained a variety of mischief and vandalism:

Beer cans: For 13 straight days, a 50-year-old Brookfield man threw beer cans on another man’s lawn in the 21400 block of Cambridge Circle Upper, according to police who arrested the man July 4 for littering and disorderly conduct. The two men lived in adjacent subdivisions and it was not immediately known why the beer can-throwing occurred.

Eggs at homes: Someone went on an egg-throwing spree overnight July 2nd into 3rd, lobbing eggs at patio doors, windows and garages in the 18000 block of Parish Drive, 3600 and 3700 blocks of Chapel Road and 17700 block of St. James Road, homeowners reported.

Eggs at cars: Two motorists told police someone hit their vehicles with eggs: a Waukesha woman’s Dodge Caravan was hit about 9:45 p.m. July 3 at West North Avenue and Vincent Drive by male suspects who fled on foot. Another Waukesha woman said her parked Honda Accord at 17250 Patricia Lane was egged.

Paintballs: Someone in a dark-colored sedan shot 100 paint balls at a home in the 2600 block of Almesbury Avenue about 10:45 p.m. July 2 or 3, damaging siding and shutters.

Horseplay at McDonalds: Police were called about 11:40 p.m. Sunday about a “rowdy” group who was driving around the McDonald’s parking lot with a girl inside the trunk. Witnesses said people opened the trunk and let the girl out and they were standing on top of the car. Police gave warnings to the three involved, a 17-year-old girl and two 19-year-old men.
