Police Reports: Woman Makes Off with a Haul, Then Repeats Feat

Among the mix of retail thieves, most of whom either hide things in bags or clothing, or just grab stuff and run, this one stands out for not standing out while making the big hit.

An unknown woman somehow found the key to getting away with the goods from a local department store, leaving company security agents a bit baffled and embarrassed.

A security officer at Target, 12725 Blue Mound Rd., reported to police on Jan. 19 that a review of the the week's video surveillance records showed that on Jan. 15, a woman had somehow managed to walk out of the store unnoticed with a TV set, a mini-refrigerator and a DVD player.

The next day, the same woman returned and stole another large TV, also without drawing any attention from store staff.
