Rummage Sale Starts Row Between Man and His Sister's Boyfriend

A Brookfield man faces charges after he allegedly tried to choke his sister and strike her boyfriend after an argument about rummage sale items, prosecutors say.

A man pointed an Airsoft pellet gun at his sister’s boyfriend’s head during an altercation that erupted when they asked him about items he was selling at their rummage sale.

Bradley E. Bohacheff, 24, of Brookfield, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday with disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct. If convicted, he faces up to 180 days in jail and $2,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

The victim and her boyfriend were selling items at a rummage sale held at a residence in the 13600 block of West Lisbon Road when a customer began to ask questions about stereo equipment the victim's brother was selling.

She knocked on the door to ask her brother about the stereo, but he didn’t respond. She went into the living room to change the diaper of a baby, when Bohacheff came out screaming mad that someone had knocked on his door. He pushed his sister while she was holding the baby.

She told Bohacheff that someone was interested in his stereo equipment, but he said he didn’t care and to just sell it for whatever price. She then told him he could handle all of the customers for his items, which made him even more upset, so he put his arm around her throat and began to choke her.

She was able to bite his arm and he let go, but then threw her into a wall. She then ran outside crying, while Bohacheff shouted he would shoot her.

The victim and her boyfriend then left and came back later to find Bohacheff’s car blocking the driveway, the rummage sale signs ripped up and her boyfriend’s mail scattered on the lawn. The boyfriend went inside to tell Bohacheff to move his car, but they got into an altercation where Bohacheff pointed his Airsoft pellet gun in the man’s face, who then wrestled the gun from his hands and got into a physical altercation with Bohacheff.

Eventually Bohacheff’s father broke up the two and the boyfriend walked outside. But Bohacheff came running out of the house a short time later and hit the man on the back of the head with a Mag flashlight. The two began to fight again until he kicked Bohacheff in the head and his dad came outside again and held down Bohacheff so the man could get away.

Bohacheff admitted to an altercation with his sister, but denied choking her. He also admitted to fighting with his sister’s boyfriend, but didn’t want to talk about it.

Bohacheff was freed on a $2,000 surety bond while awaiting trial.

I can honestly say there is little fact within this artical. I know all the people involved in this artical and it goes to show that you can't believe everything you hear and read. Maybe the columnist should of tried to contact the alleged purp for his side of the story.

Over the past several years, there have been several youth from throughout the world who haveRead More attended high school for one academic year in the Elmbrook School District through the Rotary youth exchange program. It is a tremendous opportunity for growth by the young adult, as well as the host family! If you have even the slightest bit of interest, I'd encourage you to contact Bill Petterson from the Elmbrook Rotary. It's a long-standing international program with many checks and balances so the experience is beneficial for all concerned.

We hosted a high school girl from Thailand three years ago and we continue that friendship with herRead More and her family. Not only do you, as a host family give a young person from another country a better understanding of America and Americans, but you learn about the perspectives and viewpoints of people from a totally different culture. It opens up our world view. If you have never hosted, do it!

I believe your first 4 words. After that your credibilty dramatically falls off. The only "beatRead More down" received was by the middle & low income class of Wisconsinites. "As governor, I will sign legislation to prohibit the members of the State Legislature from voting after 10:00 at night or before 9:00 in the morning. This commonsense reform ensures the public has the opportunity to contact elected representatives about their votes on any pending legislation important to them. I have two teenagers and I tell them that nothing good happens after midnight. That's even more true in politics. The people of Wisconsin deserve to know what their elected leaders are voting on." --Scott Walker
