Russian Bride-To-Be Steals Packers Super Bowl Watch After Breakup
A Brookfield man said his ex-fiancee stole his watch and camera before possibly returning to her native Russia.
After a brief courtship fell apart, a Russian woman stole a Brookfield man's Packers Super Bowl watch and $700 camera before possibly returning to her country, the man told police.
According to police reports:
A 52-year-old Norhardt Drive resident called police Saturday night asking if officers could stop his 28-year-old ex-fiancee at a Milwaukee or Chicago airport before she might fly back to Sochi in the Krasnodar region of Russia.

The man said the two had become engaged after a brief courtship but had broken off the engagement after an argument. After she left the man said he realized his 2011 Packers Super Bowl Champions watch worth $250 was gone, as was his $700 Kinoca Minolta Dimaze Z5 digital camera.
Officers were not able to locate the woman or retrieve the items.
