School Scuffle Turns Out to be Best Part of Student's Day

Police say they find marijuana, paraphernalia and intent to sell in different ways after they are called to Brookfield Central High School for a fight.

A report of a fight between two students at Brookfield Central High School was just the start of a lot of trouble for one of them.

Anthony K. Bagwell, 18, faces one felony charge of possession with intent to deliver THC, along with three other misdemeanors that include disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a criminal complaint, Brookfield police were called to the school on the morning of May 7 due to a fight between Bagwell and another student.

While police were investigating that scuffle, they also were notified by another student, a female, that Bagwell had left marijuana in her vehicle. Police checked and discovered rolling papers, a marijuana grinder and three plastic baggies, one of which had almost 6 grams of marijuana.

Meanwhile, the complaint continued, a third officer was investigating possible inappropriate sexual contact between Bagwell and underage students. The officer obtained an iPad Mini that had been loaned to Bagwell by another student, and found several text messages that specified amounts and prices of marijuana Bagwell was to sell.
