Town of Brookfield firefighters will be passing the boot — literally — today to help raise donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
From noon to 6 p.m. members of the Town Fire Department will be at the intersection of Blue Mound and Brookfield roads, removing their boots and seeking donations from motorists and pedestrians.
The annual Fill-the-Boot campaign is a national program to support the MDA. All donations benefit local MDA clients, helping to send children and young adults to MDA Summer Camp in Camp Lake, purchase and repair wheelchairs and facilitate support groups and clinic visits at Children’s Hospital and Froedtert Memorial Hospital.
