Waukesha Robbery May Be Linked To Brookfield Subway Robbery

Waukesha gas station robbery could be linked to Wednesday evening Subway robbery in Town of Brookfield.

A Speedway Gas Station in Waukesha was robbed early Friday morning, and the crime may be linked to Wednesday's robbery of a Subway shop in the Town of Brookfield, Waukesha police say.

An employee at the Waukesha gas station pressed the hold-up alarm at 12:52 a.m. When officers arrived on scene, they learned a man wearing a black hoodie with a mask and jeans had robbed the convenience store. The man fled from the scene before police arrived, according to the Waukesha Police Department call record.

The man did not display a weapon, however, he had his hand in the waistband, the call log states.

An employee informed police that one suspect entered their store, implied that he had a weapon, and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled. No one was injured in the incident. The scene was processed for evidence.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, average build, wearing blue jeans, black hat, black ski-mask, black hooded sweatshirt, and brown shoes.

At about 10 p.m. Wednesday, a man matching the same description robbed the the Subway at 19555 W. Bluemound Road in the Town of Brookfield. The suspect displayed a black handgun in his waistband. The employees handed over the money from the cash drawer and the suspect fled on foot. Photos from the Town of Brookfield robbery are attached.
