Woman Charged with Stealing Her Mother-in-Law's Credit Card
Woman was arrested at a Walworth County Walmart trying to use the stolen card.
A Colorado woman is facing multiple charges after she allegedly stole a credit card from her Town of Brookfield mother-in-law and used it to go shopping and pay a We Energies bill.
Tammy A. Jobst, 43, of Kiowa, Colo. was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with identity theft for financial gain, theft by acquisition of credit card and two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Jobst stole her mother-in-law’s credit card in April and used it to buy $200 worth of items at Walmart, pay a $603 We Energies bill and $60 worth of gas. She also tried to use the card two other times, but the card had been cancelled.
In June, the victim received a call from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department who told her Jobst had been arrested after trying to use the card to purchase items at a Walmart there.

Jobst admitted to stealing the card, but told police she shredded it after her mother-in-law told her on Easter that it had been stolen.
Jobst is scheduled to make her first appearance in court Oct. 24.
