Woman Has Drugs Closely Stashed During Traffic Stop, Charges Say

Town of Brookfield police stop a driver for suspended vehicle registration and find drugs in the open and hidden on a woman's body, a criminal complaint alleges.

Town of Brookfield police stopped a driver for suspended vehicle registration and learned she had a baggie of marijuana hidden in her genitals, a criminal complaint alleges.

Alexus R. Hentz, 21, of Milwaukee, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, she faces up to six months in prison and $1,000 in fines.

On Aug. 25, a Town of Brookfield police officer on patrol found a car driving on Bluemound Road near Janacek Road was suspended for emissions violations. He pulled the car over and smelled marijuana inside. Hentz was driving and had a passenger.Β 

The officer searched the car and found a marijuana cigarette in the ash tray and a baggie of the drug on the passenger side. Both denied owning the marijuana and Hentz was placed under arrest.

Hentz then told officers she had another baggie of marijuana hidden near or in her genitals. She tried to get the bag out but was unsuccessful. She was taken to Waukesha County Jail where staff was able to remove it.

Hentz will make her first court appearance Oct. 22.
