Milwaukee woman is charged after she tells Brookfield police officers someone stole her gun at Brookfield Square, when it actually was taken by a state trooper during a drug investigation at her home.
A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman tried to report her handgun as stolen after it had been seized during a drug investigation at her home, a criminal complaint alleges.
Samantha E. Haas was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with obstructing an officer. If convicted, she faces up to nine months in jail and $10,000 in fines.
