Absentee Voting at City Hall Starts Today

With just over two weeks to go before the June 5 election, voters who need to vote by absentee ballot can do so in person at City Hall through 5 p.m. June 1.

Brookfield residents can vote absentee in person at City Hall starting today through 5 p.m. Friday, June 1.

The city clerk's office last week began preparing mailed absentee ballots for military and other requesters.

Some things to keep in mind if considering voting absentee:

  • You must be registered as a voter; if not, you will need to register first.
  • You can get an absentee ballot mailed to you. The city clerk's office must receive your request by 5 p.m. Thursday, May 31. The address is City Clerk's Office, Brookfield, City Hall, 2000 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield, WI  53005
