UPDATE: Buffalo Wild Wings to Replace Old Country Buffet

Aldermen Tuesday approved facade changes, plus a new outdoor patio with 10 TV screens for a new Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant on Bluemound Road.

So who has the better wings? or Buffalo Wild Wings?

Brookfield residents soon may be able to try both, as aldermen Tuesday night approved plans to renovate the closed space into a new BW3 — just blocks away from Hooters.

Old Country Buffet closed its Brookfield, Racine and Kenosha restaurants in January after the company filed for bankruptcy.

A new covered patio would have 70 moveable seats, 10 wall-mounted TVs, ceiling fans, lights, heaters and black ornamental fencing. Inside, the restaurant would have 405 seats, 123 more than Old Country Buffet.

Buffalo Wild Wings would employ about 45 workers.

There will be no live entertainment on the patio, company officials say.
